Lidköping Biogas – a joint venture, Municipality of Lidköping, Sweden

Lidköping Biogas is constructing one of the first facilities in the world for production of liquid bio methane. The facility consists of two sections. One is a digester in which refuse is decomposed whereupon gas is created and then filtered. In the second section of the facility, the gas is converted into liquid form. As of summer 2011 this facility will be in full production.
