Skaftkärr – an energy-efficient residential area in Porvoo, Municipality of Porvoo, Finland

The project aims at increasing energy efficiency in urban planning for the Skaftkärr housing area. The on-going planning phase has three main development objectives: An energy efficient city planning process, living lab concepts for monitoring and controlling the use of energy, and business models for the municipal energy supplier.
